MMC Feral Rex Pictorial

There's not much to say. Tigris is here. Feral Rex is complete. Tomorrow night the words will come in the Source Article (was holding out until I got my upgrade kit for Tigris and could post photos), but for tonight, just enjoy.

New Arrivals - Early August 2014

It's been so long since my last post (end of holiday in Iceland, crisis of collecting faith, Auto Assembly) that I'm no longer sure what toys arrived when, but I've got some pictures so it's easy enough to cobble together an update! I've got a post coming where I will show what was available in Iceland in terms of Transformers at retail, then something on Auto Assembly 2014, so between these posts hopefully nothing will fall through the cracks, neither on the blog nor in my actual collection.

MMC Leo Dux Pictorial

It's not very good form to start a pictorial post with a fuzzy out of focus effort, but it's the most suitable image to launch the Mastermind Creations Reformatted R-04 Squadron Commander "Leo Dux". In other words, the 3rd party MMC version of Razorclaw. I am currently away from home for a while so I have no access to my photography equipment, toys or even a decent computer/laptop that actually allows me to see how my edited images are coming out on good monitors elsewhere. My apologies for that, shame to waste perfectly good photos this way but there you are!

Japanese TF Oddities - Post #100!

Even though I've never actively collected Japanese Transformers toys or paraphernalia (not counting Diaclone), it doesn't mean I haven't come across a few interesting and sometimes rare bits of Takara Transformers peripheral goodness. Not quite what I had in mind for post #100 but here's a quick look back, and I do mean quick.

Hasbro Europe G1 Divebomb

Less article, more pictorial. This is the mainland European G1 Predacon "Divebomb" in bilingual packaging. I had absolutely no idea this existed, I knew there were US Predacons, Canadian bilingual Predacons and even GiG Italian Predacons, but to have had the Predacons in the 1980s - and therefore Predaking - in Europe outside of Italy is completely news to me. The giftset is out of the question (right?), but these 1987 releases would have been available in Holland, France and presumably spots in Germany, Belgium and maybe even Scandinavia. Euro collectors knew of course, but that's never been an obstacle to my ignorance.
