Please find below a brief gallery of the main Autobot Headmasters from 1987, that is, Brainstorm and Arcana, Chromedome and Stylor, Hardhead and Duros, Highbrow and Gort. This Tuesday will see the start of a number of TFSource articles on Headmasters and Targetmasters from 1987, so for now it's just a selection of Autobot Headmaster group shots in higher resolution than on the upcoming Source Article, which will have a more detailed written overview of the category. After that there will be individual figure posts on this blog. Enjoy!

TFCC Exclusives Gallery
As an accompaniment to this week's TFSource Blog article on TFCC/TFSS Club exclusives that I own and love, here are the images from that article in much higher resolution for those that appreciate these gorgeous repaints. Not all of them, of course, just Cheetor, Chromedome, Barricade, Circuit and Jackpot.

Straight Outta Rodion!
Some of the best Transformers fiction...scratch that...THE best Transformers fiction I have ever encountered can be found in the pages of IDW's More Than Meets The Eye monthly comic, written by the oft-mentioned James Roberts. Of those amazing tales, the stories that take place in Cybertron's pre-war past have captured my imagination and allowed my mind to race with possibilities and side-stories not yet told. I was especially in love with the general feel, atmosphere and Roberts's construction of the social picture of Shadowplay-era Rodion where Chromedome and Prowl plied their "scrupulous" trade. Shadowplay, Chaos Theory and the recent Elegant Chaos storyline have inspired me to dig out TFCC Chromedome once more, as he is blatantly IDW-inspired, and pose him with Prowl...just not the Prowl you might have imagined, but at least he's nailing that MTMTE #10 cover A look! Those in the know will know what I'm going for here...

TFCC Chromedome
I had some vague recollection of a TFCC Chromedome exclusive being announced as a repaint of some toy that was recommended to me, looked at the pictures and decided it looked far too odd and irrelevant so its memory was lost to history. Then I fell head over wallet in love with the TFPrime Wheeljack mould, so a BH Wheeljack, Dark Energon Wheeljack, Arms Micron Wheeljack, Arms Micron Wildrider and Prime Dead-End later, I realised one I had completely forgotten about, and it coincided with Chromedome's reduced panel time in More Than Meets The Eye, so I placed a pre-order with TFSource for this beauty. Not long after Chimungmung started sending out well-priced stolen Chromedomes and Stylors without mailer box or paperwork (and then slightly more expensive ones after they realised it was selling out too fast), I received notification that my official one had begun its journey.
