Pride

Here is my very short 4-image tribute to the landmark Supreme Court ruling allowing same-sex couples in the United States to wed. See if you can spot the significance of each image, and occasionally, its accompanying caption. Love wins.

For Al, Scott and Kirk.

  1. Awesome post Maz! Who said we can´t make social statements using Transformers as a platform? :D Inspires me to get back to my own blog (which you kindly supported, thanks again!) which has been on hiatus for a while for various reasons! Until I pick it up again, lemme give you a few suggestions for expanding the post (although they might not be as witty as yours): Roddy with Drift, Cyclonus with Tailgate and Tracks... with a mirror! ;)

    1. Haha great ideas, I did think of some of those then realised they were sold, and I don't own representations of those figures any more!

  3. Like Seibertron.coms gay rainbow photo I find this wrong, pls don't further mix our hobby with completely unrelated things.

    1. Unrelated you say... hmm. Well, seems to me that the transformers community is pretty much a big sausage fest. As with the robots themselves, the girls are few and far between. Oh, sorry, did I make you uncomfortable with your hobby now? ;)

    2. It's saddening to see people take offence to this, but I'm afraid I will not stop expressing my beliefs or whatever I deem appropriate from the world outside of Transformers in my blog and involving the toys themselves. You won't find any support for your distaste here, certainly not from me, and I refuse to apologise for it. As others have said, I hope you become more educated in time and learn to become more accepting of your fellow humans.
